I have accepted my admission offer from Columbia University to pursue my Ph. D. there in Computer Science. I will be working with Professor Shree Nayar, head of the Columbia Automated Vision Environment, in the area of Computer Vision.
I was just awarded the Department of Defense's National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship. This fellowship is valid for upto 3 years, and will provide full tuition and fees to any graduate school program of my choice throughout the country. In addition, it will provide me an average yearly stipend of $31,000 for those three years. The complete list of winners is located here.
